The other day one of my ex's told me that I was the worst boyfriend that she's ever had, when I always did whatever I could to please her, and my current girlfriend, she's going on a hiking trip for school the day after prom so I told her that I was gonna steal her car and take it to work so I could do some stuff to it and make it run better and I'd pay for it, and she turned to me and said you really do love me, don't you?
I only told her bout one of the services I'm gonna do, but I'm going to end up flushing her transmission, putting in a new air filter, and flushing her coolant, and the three part (thats the one I told her I was going to do), all of which I can only get for half off, so I'm still spending about $150 or more.
So I guess I was just wondering what everyone thinks. Am I a good boyfriend or a bad one?
Id say that you are a good boyfriend. but I had a boyfriend that was like that and I loved it. but don't go over the top. im pretty sure she wants a friend too, not just a slave and your ex is definitely jealous or mad about something. maybe she was too needy.
And I'm glad that your current girlfriend recognizes the things that you do for her.
You're a great boyfriend so is very lucky and you ex just want you back but please don't go back to her, oh and if a girl ever says "if you really love you'll do( )" Say then I don't love you it might hurt but it's the only thing you can do and the only thing you should and need to do and tel all your friends about that too. Well honey being a good boyfriend is not only about doing your girl favors but about the way you treat her. Most people (boys and girls) think we do all what's on our hands to please our partners but the truth is that there are better people out there (which she's already dated) and compared to MY boyfriend your too good. So it really depends.
A good one (duhh). But does she see that or appreciate that? If not have a talk with her. And also, with the ex, maybe she's just lying to you to get you to feel bad. Or she's jealous.
I know my girlfriend does appreciate it, because just the other day when I stopped to get gas, and she got out of the car with me, it was raining outside, so I gave her my sweatshirt, and she told me that I was the perfect gentleman. - 3 months ago

My mother and father are stronger by filling in the gaps of each other. My dad is a mechanic (takes care of the family cars) and a patient person who is very responsible. My mother is outgoing and brings him out of his quiet personality, and is a good wife. I'm saying this as an example; you are doing the things you know can help, because you care about her. That's about the best thing someone can do in a relationship. Use all of yourself for the benefit of who you're with. The perfect relationship of course, is when both sides behave this way ;)
