My boyfriend is away for business all the time and for the last month or so, he's been away for most of it. He's coming back this Friday after being away for 3 weeks - and I also just found out yesterday that his job needs him to go back this coming Tuesday (so he's literally just home for 4 days) and he'll be gone for another 3 weeks.

Last night we had a fight because he told me that he's going to go out with his friends this weekend, I didn't feel right about it given that he's only back for a couple of days and I really won't have that much quality time with him. We don't live together and he literally just comes to see me every weekend because we are both full time Monday-Friday.

He kept insisting that the way I felt was "jealousy" and that I ALWAYS have a problem with him when he wants to go out with his friends. I promised him before that I'd work on it and be alright the next time it happens. BUT this time around, I DONT really see him too often.

So he's mad and upset that I'm reacting this way (being sad and upset that he's going to go out for a couple of hours) and I'M also upset because he seems to not care about our quality time together.

So I don't know what to do, seems like the only answer is. Let him go and suck it up. AND try not to show him how I really feel.

HELP!

Do you really get mad every time he wants to see his friends? I mean I appreciate what you're going through with the distance thing, but that seems like a good way to lose a guy.
Do you agree?

Question Asker Nope I really don't.

Just when it comes up when we've already planned something for that day - then I feel like I'm getting ditched.
other than that, I give him his space.

Just this time around, we only really get to see each other if I'm lucky 4-6 times in a whole month, so I guess that's why I'm having such trouble with it. - 3 months ago

Does it ever annoy you that you're single?
random-ren asked 11 days ago

Yes, most of the time! I really wish I had a boyfriend/girlfriend!

A little, because I feel left out.

Not really...

Nope! I have too much fun being single!

What's there to be annoyed about?
