Perfectly hypothetical, of course. Say I'm into a male friend of mine. Say he likes me as a just a friend. (Intel from a mutual friend, per my request. ) Is it unreasonable to hold out SOME glimmer of hope that might change? I mean. Not trying to force things as well.
Nothing is unreasonable, just be yourself. If nothing ever happens then nothing ever happens, but don't plan out your life based on fear, just be who you are, do what you want, and hope everything works out in the end.
From my experience though, these kinds of situations usually stay one-sided. I wish you the best of luck though.
It was just really frustrating. I thought he had been flirting with me for quite awhile. Guess I've never been able to read guys. Hehe

Well if he's been flirting with you that might change things slightly, but what I said before still holds. Just let it play out since people can't force these things. - 3 months ago
Question Asker
Heh, no I'm not going to force things. Not that I ever did before but I'm going to just let this flow naturally and try not to let the inappropriate thoughts he seems to bring on bother me. Hehe. TMI? Maybe. - 3 months ago

No thoughts are inappropriate! Only actions can be. IMO. Fantasize all you want :) - 3 months ago

I've been really good friends with this guy for about 2 years now, to the point I'd consider him a best friend. He knows my secrets and vice versa....

Describe your ideal first date; Where do you go? What do you wear? How does the date end?
We would go somewhere that expands our knowledge, maybe an interesting museum art exhibit, or maybe someplace awesome like an arcade and play games and loosen up around each other. I would wear my usual, red windbreaker, white T, jeans and my black shoes. The date would end where I lean in to kiss but move toward her ear and whisper " I had such a fun time tonight" and tell her I'll call her.
