I have been best friends with a girl that I am in love with. She says she won't go out with me because she thinks that if we break up, we won't be friends anymore. How can I convince her to just take a chance?

I was in a similar situation and my best guy friend told me he wanted to be more than friends and it threw me off at first but he told me that when two people are as good friends as we are that nothing will change it. And he also told me that since we know each other so well that we will know if it isn't working and we will be able to be more honest with each other. I think he made some good points and we went out but it turned out we were better as best friends and the good thing was we ended the boyfriend/ girlfriend relationship before we ended up mad. We are now still the best of friends I think that people who wait too long to be honest with the person they are in a relationship with end up on bad terms but friends can really be honest from the beginning and it never has to get to that point.

Even if you two break up, you'll be friends because you were friends to begin with, rite?
So why not take things to the next level and become something more beautiful <3

Good luck!

Amen to rosy, I've been in that situation many a time and have actually used that very statement to let him down easy. Because that's what would happen, eventually.

I think that if she liked you like that, she would take the chance. Unfortunately I think that she only likes you as a friend and doesn't want to hurt your feelings.

If it has been a few years and she still doesn't trust you, she probably never will.

Does it ever annoy you that you're single?
random-ren asked 12 days ago

Yes, most of the time! I really wish I had a boyfriend/girlfriend!

A little, because I feel left out.

Not really...

Nope! I have too much fun being single!

What's there to be annoyed about?

Describe your ideal first date; Where do you go? What do you wear? How does the date end?
Dinner followed by a walk on the beach... Nothing sets the mood like getting your toes in the sand under the stars, listening to the ocean... I would spend the night captivating her mind and let her know what I am about... It would end with a hug and a kiss on the cheek, so she could feel my lips but not experience the kiss...

Afterwards..what will your date know about you?
She would know that I am real and she is intrigued and that she is dying to see me again...

Would you date me?
