The first kiss always matters and is remembered but as much as girls I think not. Guys let's say are not as sentimental, but don't let me get you wrong they have their moments and for some it matters very much, but I think girls would win on this one.

And if you are asking about does it matter in terms of making an impression don't worry about it, they're not going to care if you are not good at it, kinda like "It's the thought that counts" but not. That to them is a new begining point that opens new doors for your relationship to "further blossom" (in girly terms).

And if you catch a guy that is affected negatively by this or does not even remember or aknowledge it, that my friend would be hopefully not the relationship you are looking for for they do not love you, it's a 'They just want to get in your pants' kinda thing, so dump them.
