i have been with my man for almost a year, this is my longest relationship ever. at first things were fine but now he acts very suspicious: he won't let me look at his messages and hardly answers his phone wen I call but wen he does answer we always end up fighting. he also has this friend that really don't like and he claims that I have nothing to worry about because she has a man and he says he has no feelings for her although he is always on the phone with her and has called me her name on many occasions.
do you think I should be worried and what should I do because every time I bring it up he gets upset and says I don't trust him.
I think there is a problem, I would insist to see his messages as you have valid reasons for being suspicious.
Here is a rule of thumb for us "good guys". He would never ever make you feel suspicious. He would never ever make the mistake of calling you by the wrong name.
If ever my Girlfriend wanted to see my phone, I would gladly give it to her.
Sorry to disagree but I don't think you have a right to see his phone!! I would never ask to see my boyfriend's and I would hope that he would never feel the need to ask to see mine. I used to work a lot with a guy and it was just us and I did sometimes call my boyfriend his name by accident because I was spending so much time with him. It meant nothing!! You either have trust in a relationship or you don't. And if you don't then what's the point?? - 2 months ago

Thats exactly why some people are different ! :) I wouldn't mind if my girlfriend would ask to see the phone, if she has reason to be suspicious, I would be more than glad to alleviate it for her :) no matter what the means - 2 months ago
