why is it a guy can just stop talking to you for a couple days and then just come back. Does he lose interest in you and then realize what he missed out on? should I do it back at him?
It could just be he has an active lifestyle. I go to college and barely have time to talk or hang out with any of my friends, so I divide my free time as equally as I can and sometimes that means I don't talk to a girl for a few days even if I like her. Plus I know a lot of girls who if a guy calls more than once every 2-3 days he's considered clingy and immediately put out of dating category. So if you want him to call more, tell him that bluntly and hopefully he'll listen.
im actually having the same dilemma with a girl, he may be busy or just not in the mood to talk that night. If you guys talk to much he may not know what to talk about anymore and may need some time to think of what to say. I'm not rlly good at giving advice but hope I helped.
In a nutshell, no. Don't get caught up in the game. There could be a real great guy who will decide to skip you over if he senses you are playing with peoples heads. And if the game works, you won't like the guy you catch anyway.

My boyfriend is HORRIBLE at calling back or sending back text messages. 6 months ago before we moved in together, were in a 4 months long distance relationship. I see him not responding to phone calls and texts all the time. At one point, I got tired of it and called him back about a week later after he called. He said "I know how you feel when I do it now, I'll try to do better." And he did.
well if you're finding that you're always doing more of the communicating than him then you need to lay off a bit. you should give him a chance to miss you. so don't talk to him for a few days and see if he'll cave in.
i totally agree with Evilsheepempire. it's either he's playing hard to get or isn't interested.

a. Never put all your hopes into 1 guy so that if it doesn't work out and you two never date...then it won't be so hard to move on.
b. If a guy really wants to get to know you then he'd put in the effort even if he's busy, he'd find the time or at least take the initiative and let you know what he's dealing with in his life...so you won't be left wondering.
