I haven't heard from him. So, should I just forget about him and move on?

Last Thursday I gave my telephone number to a guy that I've been flirting with for the past few months. Actually, we flirted with each other, talked on several occasions, but never went out. It was to my understanding that he liked me according to our mutual friend and his actions toward me. So, on the last day of school which was May 22nd, I gave him my telephone number because I really wanted to stay in touch with him over the summer. He pretended to be happy, so he thanked me and hugged me. Well, a week has passed and I haven't heard from him at all. At this point, is it safe to just forget about him and move on? I feel rejected and even stupid for giving him my number. So, should I drop him and move on? That's my plan.

i'd just move on. it's been more than a week. if he really liked you, he would've only waited about 3 or 4 days 'til he called you. any longer than that is rude but at any rate, there'll be plenty of well deserving lads who will treat you better than that. maybe this is fate telling you that there's someone better.

Yeah, I would just move on from this point. Take time to do things for yourself and focus on yourself. Besides, I wouldn't worry too much because its only been a week. :) Overall, I would just continue on with your plan . no need to waste useless energy. There will be someone else out there! I promise.
