A guy who just wants to nail you would not put that much effort into the (possible) relationship.

I would very much like to say that he is definitely pursuing you in a relationship, however, sometimes we hang out with people just because it makes us feel a little bit more fulfilled in our need to be loved.

From the description of about how he pays attention to details, that's what I do when I'm really into a girl, a guy who wants your body could care less about what you did today as long as it ends with his end.

He definitely sounds more like a boyfriend than a FWB.

It's okay to ask him about relationship questions like this one. If he cares about the things you say and think not only about yourself, but friends, family, and interests, than you can bet that he's thinking the same things that you are, and quite possibly is waiting for the right time to bring them up. I feel that he wants to strengthen the relationship.

Girl he deff. likes you if not falling completely for you! Guys don't do all the things you've mentioned and not like you in the same way! You should really talk to him about becoming a "couple" I think things for you and this guy would turn out GREAT! Good luck! :)
