What can I do to have my boyfriend show more emotions?

yea I have to agree what should he say to that seriously? I would say the same thing or "oh ok" or "same" or "thats great" Should he start balling on the phone and ask you if ur ok?

Let me get this straight - You tell him you're really tired and annoyed while talking to him on the phone and you're getting upset on his response? You pretty much told him that he's annoying you and you want to go to sleep. What else to do want him to say?

Get lots of baby pictures and watch them with him. . . After you can put Titanic rolling and make him cry!

No but seriously. Some men are just raised that way. . . Some men way too into macho warrior stuff. . . and some men just not afraid to show emotions. . . Not afraid that showing emotions will make you look weak.

I was raised not to show feelings and be a man about everything. I was raised as the oldest sibling and a boy to so I have the same problem. I would just try and talk to him about it. Also he doesn't know how to respond when he says "oh" . I've been in the same situation. you should ask him to explain what he means by "oh" because its a filler for almost everything trust me I did it.

Good luck. some guys were just raised that way. I was raised the same way. I never show any of my emotions. You just have to ask him why he will not talk about his feelings, sometimes that will lead into it or ask him about his childhood. But make sure he knows that he can trust you. That's difficult. Most guys were raised with the whole "REAL MEN DON"T CRY" thing. It took a while for me to get my boyfriend to show emotion. Talk to him. Be honest and tell him how that makes you feel. Ask him the reason why he doesn't show his emotions. Maybe he has a valid reason and you and him can work it out from there.
