Hi I'm 19, was hoping someone could give me some advice I'm so confused what this is suppose to mean. Me and this girl been friend for a couple months and I really been starting to fall for her. At first I liked her as a friend but now I really want our relationship to be more, so I was planning to make a move. I was at my friends house when I received a text saying (My name) I kinda want to tell you that I'm starting to like you but I feel weird because you are a really good friend." I told her I felt the same way and I would talk to her about it in person the next day. Since I been busy from work I didn't get to see her for 2 days. When I did I asked her if she cared if I asked her out. She told me "Go for it but I suggest you wait till I get back from cali cause I like you I really do but I do not no if I want a boy friend now and I will be gone". I'm so confused, I don't want to ask twice so that mean I have no chance, am I suppose to wait till she says something?
You might have to just ask her straight out what she means. But my guess is that if she's going to be away for quite awhile, she doesn't want to get too attached to you now cos she'll miss you like crazy if she does. And she's possibly still unsure about taking your relationship to the next level (even though she obviously likes you), she's probably worried it won't work out.
She really does like you, but she's going on vacation. Just wait man, if she's worth it. It sounds like she would be gone for a week or so, and she doesn't want to start a relationship then leave. The day after she gets back. Call her up and go on a date, then ask her out. She made her move about telling how she feels. It doesn't mean you don't have a chance, it means to be patient.
I'm really confused, because I've been in three relationships, and even though my last one was the shortest, it was the best. To this day I still...
