yes I have reconnected and its been the same.some people don't change and the revert back into old habits.so it was as bad as it ever was.mostly we now just call each other when we need sex.
i've had a girlfriend cheat on me and it was never any good afterwards.you always wonder what they are doing.if they will do it again.and how hurt you felt when it happened.
so overall I would say its a bad idea.they also hold you back from getting with someone else.maybe someone much better.since you are spending your time with them.

I have. it was worse, I broke up with him for a reason. He didn't cheat on me, but if he did there would be no way I could trust him a second time. You may think you love him and it was a "mistake" to end it, but it ended for a reason, and especially if it was cheating. There would be no way for me to trust someone who cheated on me.

Yes, I have gotten back with my X boyfriend twice now. The first time he asked me to come back things were really difficult. Not much had changed. I broke up with him the second time because of that. A few months later he asked me to come back again. We are now trying to work things out. He has changed and so have I and we both realize this time how miserable we are without each other and have committed to make things work through a give and take on both our parts.
