I would have to know him, but you probably already have the information, if you think about what takes up the majority of his conversation, or time. If he likes hunting, or fishing, give him a gift card to renew, or get a license with. If he likes cars, get him some kind of memorabilia for his favorite kind of car. Think about all the clues you have received over the last year. If you have gone shopping, what did he like that he would never get for himself, but would love to have. If he has bought you diamonds, wear them on your anniversary in a way that lets him show you off. He is proud of you, do something that lets him show it, and lets him know you enjoy him.
