Has anyone ever been in a relationship where they have "Taken a break" and things have actually worked out in the end?

Why do you think the break was needed?

Do you think it was healthy for the relationship?

Would you be willing to take another break in the future?

Would you consider this an "open relationship?"

ok dude. a break only means that there may be something wrong with the relationship. it does not necessarily mean that it's bad, or that you guys are tired of each other. it just means that there needs to be some fixing. all a break does is put the person to the test, and to make the person see if who they are with in the moment is actually the right person. and it does work sometimes, and that's when both individuals see that there is no one else for them. but a break also gives you time to think stuff out, and to relax for a while, which is why it's called a 'break'. I hoped this helped man, wish you luck.

1. Never happened to me or anyone I know.

2. The "Let's just take a break" is just an excuse to break up that is easier on the dumpee to take.

3. Yes, it is healthier to break it off before the dumpee gets even further involved emotionally.

4. If I was the Dumper.sure.

5. It can be, but only if agreed upon by both 100%. The worst thing that happens is if the dumpee goes along with it just to be able to keep being near the dumper. The feelings of hurt experienced during the "Let's take a Break" moment will only intensify and worsen when they realize the dumper was only interested in finding/being with someone else besides the dumpee.

Yes, most of the time! I really wish I had a boyfriend/girlfriend!

A little, because I feel left out.

Not really...

Nope! I have too much fun being single!

What's there to be annoyed about?
