I do it. It's a good thing, or so I've been told. :) But seriously, everyone does it. The only time it can ebcome a real problem is if it takes over the sex life, or if the, umm, catalyst used becomes more than just a way to turn yourself on. For example, has Angelina Jolie cut into the sex life a little too much? Then, it's an issue.

How can it be cheating if there isn't anyone else present? I don't think it's cheating. It's not like you're sleeping with someone else while your significant other is away. You're "taking care of business".

i don't think it's cheating. I know guys have needs and sometimes when they actively think of sex or sexual thing they need to satisfy their urge in some way. if they can't act on it with a girl then they resort to masturbation. I'm sure girls have masturbated when they're aroused even though their boyfriends aren't there. so don't feel guilty. I'd actually be more worried if my boyfriend didn't play with himself. 'i'd be especially suspicious of that.

No, not cheating. Anyone who thinks it is sounds a bit controlling and unrealistic. All guys masturbate. This would make them all cheaters.

It straddles the fence on whether or not it's cheating. One of my best girl friends broke up with her boyfriend because she came home on more than one occasion to double d tits and platinum blonde hair blown up across her flat panel plasma. No, this is not cheating. In fact it's a good idea to flog ol' one eye every once in a while. Now keep in mind though, you may want to be ALONE during alone time.
