My boyfriend and I of a year and a half decided to take a break because it's been really rough for a couple of months. It's a long distance relationship, and we don't see each other much. We talk everyday for a couple hours and text constantly. Ever since the break, our relationship hasn't changed much. We still talk the same amount, we just aren't technically in a relationship. I want to be with him, but I know we need time apart to sort things out. We use to fight all the time, and since the break, we've fought less but we still get into arguments. Any thoughts on whether or not it will work out?
It's possible, sure, but probably not. Usually when people break up and then get back together they had it right the first time. I've known lots of people that have gotten back with someone, but I don't think I know one good marriage that had a break up in their past.
