well looking at everybody's post and ideas, I feel men and women are the same form inside. with the basic human need to love deeply and get emotional satisfaction. But y is it that there is sooo much of communication gap? perhaps we should learn to understand each other better. so that we can live harmonious;y when we learn to cooperate with each other.

The primary difference is that women are more intuitive, emotively in touch and men are more deductive, rationally focused. This difference makes us complementary, yet the culture we live in often tries to pit us against each other, as if we had to be the whole enchilada by ourselves. God made us to be complementary so the challenge of bringing out, and nurturing the differences would bring more fulfillment than just meeting someone with the same desires needs or wants. The challenge requires risk, which increases the reward.

women seem to think men are mind reader and we understand think like "subtle facial expressions and body lang"

your average man DOESN'T know these things! hell most men don't know how to flirt properly, women seem to think men are taught these things as children, but we are NOT. by the time we learn what we need to, we are too old to employ it!
and for some reason, women can't speak plainly to men! a smile to a guy is a smile.
women will complain to mom, sister or other women what her guy is doing wrong, but she won't tell the GUY himself what is wrong to correct the issue! by the time the guy manages to GUESS, she has already lost her temper!

Question Asker Women are also the same.. an average woman is a novice.she has her set of +s and -s. and yeah she feels miserable with a rejection too. I think both the genders need to expand their awareness of themselves and their opposites too - 5 months ago

Men communicate to one another to exchange information while women talk to share feelings.

A perfect example of this is the following, Lets say a friends goes on a fishing trip:

Men:
How many fish?
How big?
Where did you go?
What did you do with the fish?
How much did it cost?

Women:
Who did you go with and tell me about each of there personalities then give me your opinion on whether or not you like them.
Was it fun? If so, tell me about what struck that fun or angry emotion?
How did you feel when he said or she said this and that?

Somewhere between these two languages, men and women run towards the middle as the get older and eventually balance one another out of emotion and facts.

Learning how to relate and understand the other sex is a life's practice but that is what keeps us balanced.
