i need help. There is this guy "mark." He and I have been friends for about a year now. (we hang in the same social circles.) as of late we've been spending more and more time together. at first I thought nothing of it because I have been forever banished into the "friend" category with most of the opposite sex. it's not that I'm not pretty, I kind of am, or would be if I wasn't a fatty. anywho, as such, I've never had a boyfriend and generally don't read into things much, but .what did I call him? oh yeah, "mark" is starting to confuse me. so as I said we've been spending a lot more time together. he (who was once notorious for flaking out on group activities) has been around more in the last month than in the 5 before it. we both like to dance and his Girlfriend wanted to leave the studio we were at he walked her to her car and came back in to dance with me some more. later he made a point of telling me that he broke up with her the week before because there wasn't a "spark" between them. as we left he grabbed my hand and walked me out and proceeded to dance with me in the parking lot. now, as a always-the-friend kind of girl I was ready to chock this up to weirdness on his part, but it has just gotten weirder from there.
the next day we went to a lesson (I went because he practically demanded it of me). afterward he asked me to go with him to a club. we went and danced and walked around, but then he called some other girls to come out and talked to them for the rest of the night. he walked me to my car, but what was up with that?
the next day he called me and wanted me to come to the club with him, but I couldn't. so the next day (yesterday) we went dancing. I suggested that we carpool ($4.15 a gallon!). when I got there he told me how pretty I was (which he always does, but with everyone so it's no biggie). and we were some of the only people at the place so we danced a solid 60% of the dances together. we left there and wen to another club and danced some more and we both danced with other people as well. we got tired and decided to go home, but then he said he was hungry so we went to this little hotdog stand and he bought me food (because I was spending gas money) and we sat outside on a stoop and ate and listened to music from a bar across the street. then we went back to his house and he asked me to stay to eat icecream and watch a movie. (he gave me one of his t-shirts to change into) about 2/3 of the way through the movie he said he was tired and wanted to go to bed and I went home. and now here I am, in his t-shirt at home wondering what the heck is going on.
I'm not the girl that dates. I'm the one the guys ask questions about the other, prettier girls. but I really seems like "mark" and I are dating. he is a really affectionate guy though. he tells everyone that he loves them and they're the best. one time he kissed me on the forehead, but maybe he's just. I don't know. Help!

I think that he likes you. He seems to really like to spend time with you dancing, talking hanging out. A lot of guys don't do that. Now he may like more then just friends or he may like you as just a friend. This is around the time where a guy will make a move be it a kiss or ask you to go out on a date. Or he could just see you as a friend and not girlfriend material. What I would do is cont. to hang out with him and if you feel that he is getting more comfortable around you then make a move. A guy doesn't always have to make the first move. But then you have to ask yourself if he doesn't like you in that way are you still going to be ok. Things might not be the same and you might lose him as a friend. He seems to like you but I wouldn't jump the gun just yet. Let it play out for a while and trust your instinct and you should be fine
