Do guys want to be with girls who are waiting to get married before they have sex?

Well yes, if they really like you then they will definitely be willing to honor any decision like that is that serious. I think that's a great thing to do, and I really respect anyone willing to carry that out. Do I require that any girl I would marry be a virgin? , of course not, the past is the past, and it can't be changed. I would expect them to do something I haven't even done myself. But, if the guy truly cares about you, then he'll be more than willing to wait for that special night.

Yes. I think sex is something that's only emotionally safe and at its best when it's within the security of a committed relationship - marriage. So to that I say absolutely yes. Now, would I require that my future wife be a virgin? Absolutely not - I have no control over her past, and she may deeply regret it, so I have no call to have a requirement of absolute purity of her when I haven't done that myself.

Yes. If a guy truly likes you, he will be fine with whatever your decision is and won't pressure you on it. It might make a lot of guys angry, but hey, if they can't respect boundaries that you set, then your relationship won't be happy-ever-after, I can promise you that.

ok I am going to tell you the truth.personally if the tables were turned and my guy gave me the speech " I am waiting til marriage" I would leave immediately. this is because of the following

1. I don't want someone who has NO experience, what if the sex is horrible on our wedding night. Somethings you can't be taught, you just have a natural talent for.

2. I get horny, I need a guy that can take care of business. Of course, I don't want a manwhore.

3. that's a long time.couldn't do it.


i think a lot of guys feel the same way. I feel the guys may respect you but that doesn't mean they will stick with u. And if they don't , I don't think that makes them a bad guy. They realize that they can't wait that long so you would be better off with another guy. It's a lot better for them to leave you then to pretend to respect u, and cheat behind ur back , or pressure you do something you don't like.
and a lot of time I think when people say " I am waiting til marriage" they tend to rush into marriage just so they can finally have sex. It is almost impossible for you to see a woman in here 30s who is a virgin, saying this mess. It always the younger girls, then they get married at like 22 (too young).

If he loves you enough any guy would wait.

Sex is a personal choice so I think if the guy likes you he should be ok with it and that's because when you REALLY like someone you respect their beliefs and their boundaries. You are free to choose to have sex or not, but since guys are not as good as we are in this whole "Being in control" thing, then your guy might have a hard time dealing with this.

I think waiting can be really really good - but it has nothing to do with "until I'm married" but just until you're ready to make it a part of an already healthy relationship.
