If it were me I wouldn't spend time talking to any guy on my summer vaca, unless I liked you or I'm bored, It's summer man. I think you should go for it since, like I said it's summer, and you should make it memorable, with a grl you've liked for years, by coincidence do you think she likes you?

Why not? Ask her out, but don't ask to go for coffe as I learned recently, or movie where there is only the two of you. Take her to somewhere you are comfortable and continue to be able to tease and talk.
I was thinking about this today, why nervous with someone when going for the first time to movie or meet for coffe on the first date with someone even if I am comfortable with that person. It's because there is too much pressure to perform and get her attention in a situation like that.
