I have been in love with my one of my guy friends for over two years. Me and him have already talked about it but he said he cannot return the feelings cause he is in love with his ex girlfriend who happens to be my little sister but she does not see him like that anymore. I would have let it go but the one thing is that me and him started talking we have done "stuff" but stopped recently. The one thing that just confuses me is that to him it matters when I talk to someone different, and I have gone after him 3 times but got turned down. He still is my friend, but I am always going to be wanting more, but I am not asking for more. I accept him for him just being my friend but, I can't help but not think about him. But sometimes, he comes out of no where and throws stuff in my face like past situations that have happened, even after we have talked about it. He says he can't love another woman. I just want help trying to figure this whole thing out and what should I do.
I agree, you can't make someone fall in love with you, but sometimes all it takes is time. there are situations where you're friends with someone and after a while, feelings begin to happen and suddenly you're both in love with each other. You're there, he's not. Continue to be good friends, it'll take time, be friendly, do things together, not sexually, but you know what I mean. Maybe you'll fall out of love with him, you'll see him as just a friend. You never know
I'm going through something similar to this situation. I have the most amazing guy and the only problem that we have is that he cannot get over his ex yet because he had loved her or should I say still loves her.
