Love.do you love until your bored, do you screw because your partner is depressed, had a leg amputated, because the two of you are not having sex as often, she charged up the credit card, he works to much, his mother sucks!

Do you jump ship when things are sailing smoothly?

I actually don't like the wording of that phrase, it implies that when one or both soulmates die they no longer have any connection. And if you believe in heaven or reincarnation that means that soul mates either change or don't actually exist. When I get married I would rather it be"not even in death do you part," and with that I don't mean to imply that divorce is not an option because there are deffinitely situations-like abusive relationships-in which gettong out of a marriage is necessary, but I think soul mates don't lose each other just because ones physical body dies.
Do you agree?

Question Asker I don't think you understood the question........I gave example and one of them wasn't abuse. I agree there some cases when you and your children's safety is at stake. The put the question out there because SOME people take vows and divorce very as a matter or fact. Ultimately, we all die it is the process of life and no it doesn't mean the connection is gone, and I don't think I implied that. My question was not do soulmates lose connection because one partner dies! - 4 months ago
