My boyfriend used to go out with my bestfriend. Then he broke up with her for me. Before I said yes I asked her if she would care. She said she wouldn't mind. So I said yes. Now she is getting sad because she is saying I'm all over him when she's around. Well duh I'm his girlfriend what else am I supposed to do ignore him. She gets really upset when I do this. So should I just stop around her or just think that she'll get over it? It doesn't make any since to me how she tells him to ask me out then get mad when I'm hugging him. I've always heard that friends come first but it doesn't make since because she says she would be happy for me as long as I was happy. Then she gets mad at me because of it. What do I do?
Ok, try to understand how she is feeling. She used to be with this guy, and not to long ago from the sound of it. She told you it was ok because she is your friend and she loves you, but that doesn't mean she is really ok with it. It hurts her to see you with him.
I know why your best friend is doing that. She sees what she had and probably misses that. She tries to hide it because she wants to be a good friend to you, she just has to take some time to get over the fact that you're with him now. I would try to find her a positive distraction such as a hobby or perhaps even a new guy. Her mind won't be so focused on your relationship if it's concentrating on something else.
