You are just like a guy I once knew. He was 'secretly' in love with me for 3 years! All of my friends knew this and all of his too. I loved him as well, but of course, I waited for him to approach me. He NEVER DID ANYTHING! He could only muster up the courage to talk to me, and sometimes sit really, really close to me. I remember this one time, when we were sitting closely , he told me he could actually hear his heart beating in his ears, so he gave me his hand so I could feel it to. We just kind of 'teased' each other like that. We were more shy then since we were younger.
My point is, regardless of what he felt, he never did anything, and I did my waiting,so after 2 years of waiting I gave up, and even started to resent him for being a jerk and a coward for not doing anything, so I'm pretty sure that's why this girl is angry with you now as well.
Now.what can you do? Just tell her you've been kind of strange, and you miss her very much, and all you really want is for her to admit she missed you too. Then you can start rebuilding your relationship, and, perhaps, with time, she'll be ready again for you to ask her out.
(although.I would never again like to wait for a guy I already waited for that long.I guess it depends on what kind of a person she is, and how much you really meant (mean) to her.)
