Okay this is kind of unusual for me.I have always gone for the older guys for a number of reasons. But anyway, I am a senior in high school and I think I am actually falling for a sophomore! The thing is, we ran track together and I had always thought he was a senior.until I saw his facebook. I thought he MUST be joking. I mean this guy is huge. lol. But, he is indeed a sophomore. Is that pedophileish? What are your thoughts, opinions, and experiences in relation to dating younger guys?

Oh hell no it isn't pedophileish (as long as you're a high school student). It's only creepy if you're dating a middle schooler or below. It's usually alright for high schoolers to date anyone within the high school, though freshmanXsenior can be kind of .a bit much.

but for you this is sophomoreXsenior, AND, you'd be the older one, which means there's less of a chance of someone getting used in the relationship. Usually when you see freshmenXsenior relationships, the guy is (in my opinion) a lot of the time using the girl.

Go talk and hang out with him more, maybe you'll find out for sure your feelings : )

I think dating like that only ends in disaster, because you'll date him and then go off to college, and if it was something great then you are both sad, but it sounds like you like him so give him a chance, I think everyone should get one chance.

How is it pedophileish?

If you like him. give him a chance. I mean there have been times where I thought an older girl liked me. when I was junior. she was a senior. But it never took off. she was too redneckish

Well I generally go for older women myself, I prefer them to girls who are younger than I am because of their maturity and confidence. The mere fact that you thought he was a senior by his actions and personality should be giving you all the proof you need that you should disregard the age gap and go for it.

I've had women who were older than I am find me desirable and whatnot, they thought I was older than I actually was. I never deceived them on my age, they just never asked it and assumed I was older. When they finally get around to asking my age, they freak out because I'm a few years younger and say it's not right. It was right before then, no? So if you are attracted to him, go after him, simple as that. You might get some flack socially because couples where the older one is female tend to be socially taboo in our country for some reason. So go for it, nab him for yourself!

I'm a senior in high school and I'm dating a junior, like I'm in grade 12 she's in 11.
and I think its great. I love her so much.
And I say if you care for someone so much 1-2 years different shouldn't mean anything to anyone. its not the age that matters, its how you care for each other. but if the age is to much,
like 4 years apart? girl get a new crush.
But in the end if you do care enough about this person then I say do it.
Tell him how you feel and be honest. be calm and attentive about what he says.
and good luck to you.

I honestly see nothing wrong with it.
it is just when you are dealing with age differences there will come immaturity problems, but if you can handle that and everything is cool go for it!

i had a crush on a younger guy beginning of this year went away tho and now we are besties he's a junior now
however I think its okay I mean you would wanna want to wait him a little if you like him soo much I mean until like you graduate and know that you won't b the center of gossip in the school because honestly that sucks and it will happen if anything happens right now
i would say take it slow know if he likes you back and see if he wanna take it further to dating and stuff and if yea then you guys can plan it all out and see what you guys wanna do
good luck with that and hope that helps.=]]

Has society given us enough info. about Birth Control and Safe Sex?
melissarose8585 asked 4 days ago

Society doesn't give enough information.

People don't listen to information given, or don't care.

There is another reason.

I don't know.
