she's done this twice now, on msn and nexopia, and texts.
what do I do?

Relax, I shamefully did this exact thing to my girlfriend, I just didn't want to talk. I wasn't mad or angry at her I just wanted a little time to myself that's all. Time is all she needs, but give her the space, if your clingy about it you may just start fights.
