My boyfriend of a year ended our relationship I think. He was very clear on what is going on. He told me that he is very depressed with himself and where he is going in life. His car recently broke down, he lost his job, and I think he is realizing that he really hasn't done much with his life. He's 22. He told me that if he's not happy with himself, he can't make someone else happy. He said he needs time to get his act together. All he wants is for me to be happy and he wants to be happy. I asked him if he would ever date be again after he got his life on track and he said definitely. Does this mean we're done or are we on a break. He hates to communicate so I didn't really push this question at him. I'm just so confused. He is also going away for 3 weeks in the military.
I don't think he broke up with you for good, maybe he just needed a break from the relationship to get his life together.just give him some time and then when he's ready, he'll come to you.hope this helped hun
