Why do people go back to there ex?

Well I would to my one because our relationship was messed up she was still with her boyfriend when we were dating and I didn't know when I found out I broke up with her but I now see her with her boyfriend and how much effort she puts in and realize if she did that for our relationship it would of been good. I think if we did try again and she changed I think we would both be happy

I have seen this question asked so many times. Alright why because they are comfortable with them. They like now know what too expect. Maybe the first time didn't work out because they had a misunderstanding or they didn't feel the same way about each other yet but now they have figured out that they did have to same feelings for each other and want to get back with each other now. and most of them time when people get back together is with there ex. and plus with your ex you don't need too start all over with a brand new guy like you don't need too take it one step at a time you can just start from like where you left off. so ya I hope that kinda help you. and getting back with my ex is the best thing I have done in my whole life

because its the mere hope that maybe this time it will work. Some people can see potential in their partners but give up for whatever reason. It's hard to explain. Its matters of the heart. Sometimes its hard to get over that person and you just feel better being with them. Its just hope, that's all. You never know what could happen again, but with life you go through experiences which allows you to grow and learn.

If it's years down the road, then often times people have grown. They have learned more about themselves and others as well. This will help them to better communicate and reason things that previously may not have been able to be solved. Also, sometimes, whatever the issue was between a pair has gone away, or they have had enough time apart to heal and forgive for something the other has done wrong.
