Me and my boyfriend are having a baby, and yeah I've been bitchy (it comes with the emotions). Anyway he said we need a break. I'm under the impression that people who take breaks don't get back together. Is this true?

Not always. Breaks can sometimes give that little 'me' time that can help you get you head back on straight and see what you really want.

With that said, I don't know how healthy it is to be taking a break while you are in your pregnancy (I am assuming that you have not had the baby yet, since you said having).

Yes, your hormones are thorwing your emotions all over the place, and that can be difficult for a couple with a solid marrige between them.

I can imagine that just like you are overwhelmed with everything, so is he.

I would try talking to him, calmly (so get your ice cream and pickles craving taken care of before you call him), and let him know that while you respect that he wants to get his head straight, that you really do want to work things out and that you would like to talk to him about things. Then, when you two get together, talk. About everything that is bothering you, everything that scares you, etc.

It probably wouldn't be a bad idea to talk to a family member either, and if possible, have them with you when you two talk (that way if things start getting heated or off subject they can get you back on track).

Considering your other post though, I'm truly worried about your situation.

I think it would be best for you to talk to an relationship counselor that has experience with situations like yours. I believe that their guidance and expertise can help you much better than anyone's short internet answers can.

Best of luck with everything.

Does it ever annoy you that you're single?
random-ren asked 12 days ago

Yes, most of the time! I really wish I had a boyfriend/girlfriend!

A little, because I feel left out.

Not really...

Nope! I have too much fun being single!

What's there to be annoyed about?
