Do you worry about STDs when with a partner?

ideally we all should and people shouldn't get offended or react badly when we do ask
but we don't live in an ideal world so most people aren't going to ask unfortunately so

if they were sleeping with you... it'd be a big problem :o

I think it is indeed a problem that is not going away. Which is why everyone is educated enought to use comdoms. Now with regards to worrieng, I am most worried when it's someone I don't know. Someone who;s backround I have no knowledge of. I don't however believe I need to take drastic measures as far as telling my partner to get tested before having sex. I never do it without protection anyways.

I am single now, but in the 3 years I was serious with my last girlfriend, there were times when we made mistakes and got the baby scare. STDs didn't really occur to me during those times but then again perhaps it is becuase it was with someone I trusted and trusted me too.

Yes STDs are a problem and certainly if you can actually convince your partner to get tested, then more power to you. But unless it's someone you are "seeing" on a regular basis, then usually sex isn't a "planned" event. You know?

Sure if I had to get a new partner, but my current partner was a virgin when I got with him. :)

But if you used protection with them then it wouldn't be an issue? I think it's a good idea 2 get them tested especially if going to perform oral sex or whatever and get tested anyway but I personally think you should wear protection anyway.
I think it's a huge problem I know loads of people who have had diseases and there not nice at all. I don't know how anyone could either not get their partner tested or not use protection.

i think it would be weird to ask your partner if he has any diseases
