Okay, so I've been best friends with this guy for 2 years now. I've never ever thought about dating him, but I had always had a sneaking suspicion that he was secretly in love with me. Well I asked him one day and he said he guesses that he kind of is. This put him into perspective for me. I started thinking about how great it would be to date my best friend. So now I like him, but I have a boyfriend. I actually told my friend that I almost said no when my boyfriend asked me out because I might be secretly in love with him, to which he replied that he's not really. Now we talk about who he DOES like, and I'm trying to be a supportive friend here, but I'm really having a hard time keeping this from him and my boyfriend. I don't know what to do...and I've only been dating my current boyfriend for a few days and it already sucks because I'm his first girlfriend and he doesn't know what he's doing and he doesn't know me as well as my friend does. So if someone could help me out, I would REALLY appreciate it.

Well this guy may like you although he is still working out the dents in his feelings for you.
So just give it time and the answer will come.

I think you should take your time with this. If the guy said "not really" then something isn't right. You can't count on someone who isn't upfront and consistent. Maybe play it cool with both of them for a little while until you find out who you can really count on. There is no need to jump into hot water, is there? Someone who really cares about you, isn't going to just disappear because you need a little time. People who play games will often pressure others, but someone who cares will not. So...I would pull back a bit, and let Time answer your question for you. Still, have fun doing things, with each of them. Just don't get sexual too fast with anyone until you are clear with yourself, and don't put your heart on the firing line. Good Luck.
