For the guys: What are the signs you give when you are falling out of love?

If you can fall in love than you can fall out of love right? Well what I've felt in the past was that lose of butterfly feelings in my stomach. I start to think about them less and less. I avoid them at all coasts. It feels better to be free. I look forward to meeting the next ideal lady and more improved and better. It is subjective mostly but depending on if she left me of I left her the symptoms are usually the same.

If she leaves me the first thing to get over is the anger, than the rest of that stuff happen. Hope that answer helps a bit.

I never thought about this before reading this question but now that I have, here are some things that I have done.

The flower routine is out the door; I barely remember to buy flowers.

I get very short fused, most every little thing she asks or tells me is enough to drive me crazy and in return I raise my voice, change my tone all unintentionally but all of a sudden find myself all wired up.

Sleeping also is another thing. When I am not in love anymore I tend to retreat to my side of the bed and sleep on my own, rather than cuddling with her.

Women in general are needy in disguise of being strong. I end up being more needy and there comes a clash of interests. She first doesn't know how to react but then soon realizes that I am not strong enough for her. Then I take a bit of emotional abuse during the period that leads to break-up.

So if you think that your guy all of a sudden is acting very needy, calling you every hour of the day, asking where you have been, he is trying to tell you that his feelings are not there anymore and that he has a plan already in motion to break up with you.

I would be rather up front about it and say 'There has been quite a fall in our relationship' and talk about the why's or how's and then see if there is anything we can do about it. At the end of the conversation if I see that there is chance, we would give it another try. Otherwise that'd be the last conversation I am having with her while 'in a relationship'.

I stop trying to make her happy. If she's mad at me or nagging about something, I refuse to work through it.

I'll say things like, "do whatever you want" or, "I don't really care either way".

I stop calling as often and I never say any of those "sweet" things girls love to hear. Because I just don't think about her that way anymore or care as much.

I get annoyed if she calls me....
I'm more interested when she says she is going on vacation and I celebrate when she is gone...
I find myself not paying attention to her stories but getting annoyed by her stories...
when in bed----I would rather go to sleep, than do any hanky panky, but that's pretty obvious...
overall though, is a feeling of annoyance when the person is around, and of peace when the person is not around---then I know it needs to be over pronto!

It's pretty simple. We'll be doing something completely ordinary. Maybe he'll say something very sweet and endearing, and we'll be looking into each other's eyes. All of the sudden it hits me. I realize I don't love him as much anymore and I realize it's never going to work out.
