Ok, so my boyfriend of almost a year and I have been talking a lot lately and we know that we are going to get married. I am 20 and he will be 25 dec. 1 so needless to say he is most definitely ready to settle down and start a life together. Problem is .... I am in college and have two years left and he lives in a different state. We see each other on average of maybe one time every 3-4 weeks as of now! Is engagement and being in a long distance relationship alright or should we wait for two years?

I think that if you both love each other there should be no problem with being engaged during a long distance relationship. I am currently a long distance relationship and I couldn't be happier than I am because I found someone that I love more than anything. Love is a very powerful feeling and as long as you love each other. I wish you and him many years of joy and happiness.
