Hi my name is Claudia, and I'm 21, I've been together with my boyfriend for 2 yrs. First we used to see each other everyday until he had to move to a different college that is one hour away. Now we only get to see each other during the weekends. My boyfriend is taking many classes and is very busy with school work during the week.
We used to talk everyday on the phone when he moved but for the past 3 months things changed, he doesn't call me anymore during the week and when I call him he doesn't respond. Normally he waits to call me until Friday which is the day we see each other. I have talked to him about the fact that I want to be able to talk to him at least once a day, and how it bothers me for him not to answer my calls or messages, he apologizes, but things don't change. I know he's busy but is that enough excuse not to answer me or call me for days?
When we are together on the weekends things are great, he really shows to care about me, he brings me small presents and makes sure that I'm happy, and is very loveable, and that is why I'm confused of he doing this when he is away...he is 22 yrs old.

Maybe he just isn't a phone person, so instead of picking up and having to hear your disappointed voice when he says he doesn't want to talk, its easier for him to just not pick up and blame it on school and then make it up to you with great affectionate weekends.
