So, I have this really close friend who I've known for 2 years...we also go to the same class..and since we started sitting together 3 months ago, we have gotten very close. Well, we are together basically all the time...classes, lunch...sometimes after school.
We can talk to each other about almost everything..and it's just hilarious when we are together, we laugh all the time and have a great time.
The problem is, I've fallen in love with him..but I can't figure out how he feels about me. He's often touchy, has given me massages (when I haven't even asked for it :P) and all those other little things.(Like..when we listen to his ipod..and he sings along to all those love songs,as if he's singing to me) But I also know he is going out with a couple of other girls..well, he has lots of girl friends...But he doesn't have a girlfriend, and he has never told me he likes someone, so..
A few days ago, we were in a restaurant, having lunch...and we were sitting side by side on a couch, and suddenly he put his arm around me (he does make a lot of that kind of stuff as a joke, to other girls too) and I played along..so there we were like this, his head on mine..and his arm around me..caressing my hand. And it wasn't a joke this time as we stayed like this for longer than half an hour)
Is this something friends do? I personally think this isn't exactly a plain friendship? Or is it? I'm just SO confused..and I don't want him know I really like him. Is he testing me? Comparing me to other girls he's interested in? This situation is driving me crazy.
If anyone has any ideas or advice, I would we very thankful. :)
It sounds like he likes you, but if he often hangs out with other girls I hope your not a jealous person cause if you are you will probably worry during the relationship the whole time. Also, if you go out with him, don't expect to keep the same relationship if you guys break up. Things change and you guys will not be able to stay as close.
