Well even though my ex and I broke up we still talk and hang out but we are not together. Now I have been talking to this new guy and I think that I would like to give it a try with this guy. How do I tell my ex that I am starting to see other people? I know it sounds really stupid but that the way it is. I don't want to hurt his feelings.
That's not stupid at all. It's mature and sweet. I think you should just let him know that you are interested in this new guy. I don't think it has to be anything major. He'll have an emotional response (which you may not see) because there's clearly a bond between you two. But he knows you're moving on and you know he will too. It's just strange when it happens that first time.
Depends on the kind of guy he was. When I told my ex I was interested in another girl she threw it straight back in my face. But yeah, best thing for it is to try not make a huge deal out of it as he may think you're trying to make him jealous. Just calmly tell him, and if he goes off on one then I'm afraid that's his problem, you're doing the friendly thing by telling him rather than letting him find out the hard way.
Don't listen to rude-anonymous-chick. It's tough to know that your ex has moved on, especially if they haven't. Just be considerate and as nice as you can be.

The best would probably be face to face. & maybe one day when your talking (privately) ask him if he's thought about seeing other people, & just go from there. No matter how nicely you say it he still might take it badly, but this shouldn't stop you from telling him. Good luck.
Don`t get me wrong he doesn't say anything bad about her. He says good things but its kinda annoying hearing him telling me all that cause I love him.
