Ok... I've been with my boyfriend for a year already & I love him to death but most of all our fights is because he's too jealous! He took my phone & erased all my contacts! He hates it when my friends call me when I'm with him, he doesn't like me wearing shorts or skirts & he hates it when other guys stare at me! Is his jealousy too much or is it ok?
I had a girlfriend once who did that to me and even though I tried to talk to her several times, I could never get her to the level I would like her to be. Needless to say, it didn't work out, but I am sure she found someone who would like such treatments. The question is, do you like to be treated that way?

Well,You came here looking for answers so here is mine for you......YES he is too jealous! So what if he is your boyfriend who the hell is he to tell you what you can and cannot wear or who you can talk to. I see you are only 17 yrs old the best advice I can give to you is cut your loses and get the hell away from him.....When you are in a relationship it is supposed to happy and fun your partner should be your best friend not someone that tries to treat you like they are your father....you already.

If he is that jealous that means he doesn't trust you, and if he don't trust you, you guys shouldn't be together. Relationships are built on trust and if there is no trust there is no relationship.
Guys don't tolerate that kind of jealousy from us girls so I don't think you should tolerate it either. You've got a life to live and it's up to him to be in it or not...but it's totally your life. :)
If it's been a year already and if he still have issues with you talking to your friends on the phone, or with what you wear, you clearly haven't set boundaries on what and how to do things around one another. I would suggest you ask him, what specifically he doesn't like about you talking to your friends or wearing shorts or skirts. If there could be a compromise, great; however if he is a control freak you should decide whether that's what you want to be doing.
I think it's okay if he doesn't like you wearing short skirts - he wants to save the goods for himself. :) However, erasing your contacts and not liking it when your friends call - that would worry me. Be careful and if it gets worse as time goes on (instead of better as he learns he can trust you) then you have to decide if he's worth losing your friends and life outside of him.

Usually I just wear whatever I'm comfortable in... not too tight of jeans and usually a top that doesn't accent my bigger breasts I don't need attention for the wrong people some girls know what I mean..
