ok me and my boyfriend have been going out for 2 months and Christmas is coming up I have no idea what gift to buy him.
I had the idea of getting him a dog tag that's engraved an its going to say our names an the date we started dating an a little saying on the back is that a good gift idea or not?
I'm open for ideas an opinions. PLEASE HELP
Update: ok thanks for the help girls I was kinda looking more help from the guys but its to late now anyway I talked to his best friend an he said go for the tag so I did an it looks great I hope an pray he likes it

Don't get anything engraved in nothing. You've only been dating for two months and even if he acknowledges you guys being serious, getting something engraved with both of your names may scare the bejesus out of him. That's like getting monogrammed towels with both your names and hanging them up in the bathroom. Leave the engraved items until after the wedding.
Is he going to get you something? Men are famous for not giving out gifts and it would suck that you spent all this time trying to figure out what to get him and he doesn't give you anything. If you really must buy him something, buy him something he can use like a shave kit or a set of his favorite cologne.
