OK so we have been going out for long enough that we love each other and it's not that I don't trust her. I trust her with everything and she knows I would never cheat on her. I am just worried that other guys will try to with her because she's beautiful and not shy at all. Is this normal to have worries like this when she is going on holiday to a foreign country. It's christmas and she's going away for a week :( The longest since I've known her even before we were going out is 3 days! Gonna miss her so much and having weird thoughts and this popped in once and I just thought of it then but now have realised that it wouldn't happen. I am just wondering whether all guys think like this the first time their girlfriend goes on holiday or you don't see her for a while? Thanks
I think it's human nature to worry. I worry all the time. I worry if my husband would cheat when he was out of town (he wouldn't), I worry if I'm getting more unattractive to him as I age (I'm not), I worry if my kids are getting a good enough education to get them good jobs when they grow up (they are), I worry if a giant asteroid is going to hit Earth and destroy it before I ever got to go see the Great Wall of China. But I don't let it take over my thoughts - just fleeting things that don't mean anything. Sometimes I think people like to tip their thoughts into the dark side a little. You're dealing with something new, her leaving you for an extended amount of time, of course you're going to feel a little anxious about it. Like I said - human nature.
Thanks I was just making sure I'm not being paranoid or anything. I felt like I cheated on her with this lack of trust at first but really I know now it was just stupid. She loves me out of all people and I know she does and I don't have to (plus I don't have the space) to explain how I know she really does love me and I know she wouldn't cheat. - 11 months ago
if you trust her than don't text her second saying stupid things or asking what's up? just let her be herself and come back with a warming hug and a shining smile!
