At the beginning of our Long distance relationship 4HOURS AWAY FROM EACH OTHER, he was always so attentive. But now after a year he has changed, everything is him, his work, he is busy, or I can't do that because I had planned this. It's always either an excuse or to me I think he is being very selfish. "Our first year anniversary came Dec 9, 2007 and was gone with no words or gifts or anything). I FEEL LIKE I NEVER EVEN EXISTED OR WE ARE NOT IN A RELATIONSHIP. I know gifts are not so important but there was not even a reaction or words to state that he was happy about us or something. I brought it up and he told me, that he's just not really into little things like that. I have never been with someone like this very confusing to me. NOW IT'S ALMOST X-MAS AND HE TOLD ME HE'S REALLY NOT INTO GIFTS HE WAS NOT LIKE THIS LAST YEAR. PLEASE HELP! ( SHOULD I DUMP HIM) I TRIED TO TALK TO HIM BUT HE'S ALWAYS RIGHT.

So this is so long, but I have another concern?
When we sometimes were on the phone in the middle of a conversation his cell battery dies he will not call me back right away to continue conversation from his home phone which it's local to us no extra cost. When I call him to tell him in seconds hey what happened , HIM: oh sorry my phone died, so can you call me back to tell me , Him: well a family member got to his house and he is with them and lives me hanging till when ever he wants busy again.

You have to get across to him that although these might seem little things to him, they are important to you. Tell him to start paying attention to these things if he really cares about you...

This guy is definitely selfish. Dump him! You need a guy who will make you feel special, and treat you like a girlfriend. You don't need or deserve such abuse. He definitely is taking advantage of you.......again, lose him as soon as possible! You will be much happier for it!
