Okay so me and my ex-boyfriends broke up .well HE broke up with ME.a month ago. we still talk and text and he says we "separated" like we're going to get back together. I miss him SOOO much but part of me wonders if we really DO need to stop contact to miss me and get back together? the main reason was his job responsibilities.he couldn't juggle it with being in a relationship
well, jealousy is powerful. although I wouldn't recomend trying to get him jealouse, although it would probably make him come after you like a wild horse. not being able to juggle work and a relationship makes no sense, you shouldnt be work you should be a relief from work. so anyways if it is hurting you its important not to show it and to act like everything is ok, be freindly when you talk to him (but not flirty or desperate), and its important to agree with the breakup, tell him you think it was a good idea. it is imortant that you guys are in agreement. don't just totaly ignore him for to long though.
It's been 10 months since it happened. I don't know whether you got back with him but I've been in a similar situation. I agree with the first girl replying and not talking to him. It's a 'game' but it shows you whether he really loves you and means a lot to you. A guy who won't give his all and make contact just shows that he no longer needs you. This is because he was the one who broke up with you. It would be the other way around if you were the one to break up with him where you would have to be 'sorry' and make amends. He has to do his part although you really want him back... you have to show him you're strong and you don't need him. He needs you and he has to say he's sorry and come back to you. It's a test and he has to pass it.
No matter what job he has he should be able to give you some time.
A tip: don't answer his calls, don't reply to his texts for a while. Like a day or two and then if he calls you on the third day tell him that you aren't his girlfriend and that he should decide whether you're getting back together or not as you said that he says you're "seperated" Its time to decide
