There is this guy at work that I have had my eye on . . . we finally had the chance to have a conversation that was longer than 5 sentences, in which I found out he was 25. But when he found out I was 18 he was really surprised (he thought I was 21). . . still trying to figure out if he wasn't also disappointed. I am wondering if he will be able to overlook the age thing, because it doesn't bother me. So guys, does age matter?
I've made this comment on this site before; age matters only when you are younger. (Like you are!) The older you get, it diminishes in importance. Its really mostly about maturity. While 7 years is not a large age gap, it would not mean as much if you were, say, 25, and he was 32. You may be a very mature 18 year old. All you can do is keep talking to him, and he will decide if he wants to continue pursuing a relationship with you. He may very well think you are too young for him; 25 is a pretty stable age for guys. At that age, they are into their work careers and forming their lives. And sometimes looking to settle down with one girl. Good luck!
