The guy I am dating is hardly ever affectionate, he hates kissing, he rarely cuddles or holds my hand. I love affection. I have told him many times that it would make me happy but he just either brushes it away, says "I'm not drunk enough" or in one instance said "I'll have to get you a cat to cuddle".

Is it a lost cause?
