I have been in a relationship with a guy for the past 4 months and everything has been so great, he spends a lot of time with me and my kids and sleeps here more than he does at his own house...buys stuff for me and the kids way too much and always wants to chat online or over the phone when he is not around here.

Then lately I have noticed he is getting a lot of late night text messages from girls he says are friends or some times we will be sitting on the couch together and then he gets a text message (his phone is always on silent ever since our first date) and he will turn the phone away from me so I can't see what the text says and one day I actually saw it was from a girl (I had no idea who it was) saying "hey sweetie would you like me to drop by your workplace later tonight if your still at work?"

And he just did not text her back but probably waited til I left the room to text her quickly..and ever since then he has started acting a bit unusual (distanced) but is still buying stuff and expensive stuff at that for the kids and I and talking about going on a long holiday etc...what the hell is going on??? :-S

Typical behavior of somebody that had other girls on the side, if you were to ask me. So question is then, why do all the stuff he does for you? Maybe he does enjoy the time he spends with you, but is not ready to commit himself to you because there are other girls out there servicing him. That's my only guess given the fact that he is not letting you see who is texting him. If his texts were 'innocent', why hide them from you? Maybe time to drop him...

I know he absolutely loves girls flirting with him and loves attention in any given form, although I do not think he is having sex with anyone else due to him being with me in about 98% of his time...the other 2% is when he is at work... - 11 months ago
