Sweet and tailor-made: YES !!! You don't even really have to spend a lot of money ! Lots of attention, but not expecting sex WILL GET YOU THE BEST NIGHT EVER ! Make it all about her and things she REALLY likes. Get her favorite movie, MAKE her favorite dinner, "picnic" in front of the fireplace or TV, favorite bottle of wine... You get the picture. If you have kiddies, send them to Grandmama's house for the night. START the day by giving her a mushy note, telling her about all the little things that endear her to you. Even the silly stuff that she would shake her head about, but make your heart go pitter-pat. (ESPECIALLY those things !)
Oh, and if you make it a point to do this on a regular basis, I guarantee your love life will go into orbit. Take it from an ex-wife who was neglected most of the time, but was expected to be "on call" at his whim. If he'd shown me this kind of attention even ONCE a month, he would have been a busy man the REST of the month.
A dozen of roses then inside or in the middle is a movie ticket..that would be so sweet. Oh and guess what MOVIE's out this valentines? Step up 2... I think that would be perfect..
I love Valentines Day. But I'm not a big fan of chocolates and love letters to me they are kind of gay. I'm not into mushy stuff like that. I like jewerly and flowers so I could show them off to my family and friends. I love Valentine day colors too, I think that's why I like it so much.
I know that it's meant to be commercialized but I can't help but be drawn to it. I I just love the decorations and flowers and chocolates and everything. I'm a huge romantic. What can I say! LOL. Of course, people should practice V-Day everyday but what's wrong with setting aside a special day as well?
I enjoy sweet things. Something that is special and tailored just to us. Like if a guy were to make heart shaped cupcakes and write cute things with icing on them or maybe give a girl her favorite type of flower instead of roses or just tell her how he feels....anything sweet but not over the top.
Honestly I agree with that girl.. I don't get why one day of the year you have to give the one you love or whatever a gift to show how much you love them!! I don't do the whole valentines thing even when I'm in a relationship. I tell the fella not to get me anything that valentines is way too over rated and a waste of money in my eyes and as that other girl said I'm not being bitter either am I .. I just think its a pointless over rated holiday!!!!
Well I guess I am going to sound bitter here but.. I personally hate the commercialization of valentines day, I think its pretty lame that one day out of the year you have to do something nice for the one you love. Why can't you do these things on other days throughout the year? Anyways that is just my ranting. The best presents that I have received on Valentines day were creative, and not Hallmark, I voted D. You should also make her a homemade meal if you can cook, and have a romantic night in.
To be honest all of those are great this year I just want to spend it with him and have sex lol. That's good for me maybe he can even cook me dinner too. - 10 months ago
