We met two summers ago while working at a summer camp; we hit it off great as friends, spending our breaks and time off together with mutual friends. We got extremely close and shared everything. We spent three months working together and I started to fall for him. When we left we were best friends and still are now. so...

When we went back to our homes which at the time were 7 hours from each other; I didn't think that anything would evolve especially since we lived so far away; nothing has in any obvious way. The day I got home he e.mailed me and said he missed me already, he also called me almost every week. Our conversations were an hour to two hours every time, we just talked about life. Then about a month or so later he started to talk about what he wanted in a girlfriend. It came out of nowhere and wasn't about anyone specific just his general desires.

He is the person I call when I need comfort and visa versa; there was one conversation where he admitted that while at camp he had a really bad day and usually he would call him mom or sister but all he wanted to do was talk to me. Why? After that call we talked once more on the phone and then played phone tag for almost two months. During that time we still talked over e.mail and texted. This all comes back to my intro question: Did I have a chance? Should I have told him of my feelings? (If you need more info then just ask)

Well I went over to Seattle a few times last year but didn't have time to see him. Life got really busy for both of us last year and it was hard to plan any vacation. - 7 months ago
