Basically this is from my sister, she is 25 and her boyfriend is 22, he is so mature that he seems like a 28 year old which is why my sister is so into him. They are so in love and our families met about a week ago in the airport, both families made good first impressions. the thing is that we really welcome him in our family, but his mother keeps hiding my sister from their family (like the grand father and the rest of them).

They all know about my sister, but the strange thing is that when he is out with my sister, his mom tells everyone that he is out with his friend, not his girlfriend. But she doesn't seem to dislike my sister at all. Is it normal or there is something wrong with his mom? This is really hurting my sister so if anything comes to your mind, anything at all, say it :P
Thank You:)

I say tell her not to worry. My mom does this with people I have dated and I know a lot of people with kids my parents age and about that generation that say this and introduce the gf of bf as a friend. I can't tell you why his mom does it specifically but I asked my mom about it because I just caught it one day and knew that her and my father didn't dislike my bf. She said that more than anything she said he was my friend because it then let me tell who I wished when I wished and what I wished in regards to our relationship. That it was also more polite and socially acceptable (lack of better wording for this really) to introduce someone as a friend because then they may be met and seen as a friend and accepted and if and when you want them to know then they know you a re dating but it is on the terms of those that are involved not her or my father or whoever else.

My ex and I dated for along time.. Year's here.. His mom never called me his girlfriend. Always introduced me as his friend. Use to really upset me. It's not that she does not like her, it's an age thing. Most older Women introduce the girlfriend as friend. She should not worry about it. Tell her to enjoy her great boyfriend, screw the mom.

Advice: Relationship Issues: Giving Presents
Does it ever annoy you that you're single?
random-ren asked 19 days ago

Yes, most of the time! I really wish I had a boyfriend/girlfriend!

A little, because I feel left out.

Not really...

Nope! I have too much fun being single!

What's there to be annoyed about?

What pickup lines do you use to start a conversation with someone you are attracted to?
I think I use situations to start conversations...

If I'm approaching a female, I'd start by introducing myself, and following up with a compliment of why I had to introduce my self.

How do they typically respond?
If she is interested, she would ask questions, or make small talk while giving off some type of body language.

If she is not interested, she listens to whatever I say, and tells me something like she really into someone right now, but she appreciates the approach.

Do I have the right approach?
