From an 18+ out of High School perspective... What is a good amount of time to wait to introduce your boyfriend/girlfriend to your parents?

It helps if the relationship is serious but sometimes introducing them to your parents will help out the relationship asw ell. It will either freak them out or feel closer to you. Once your parents are introduced to the person there really is no boundaries or reason to whole back feelings for each other.

I think it takes time to know if the relationship is stable enough or not. If you are unsure... it would probably be better to introduce them as a friend and then later state that you are dating

I think first it is any time that you realize that the relationship is serious.

i also say though that depending on where and how you meet them ti has an impact - If I met them in my hometown while I was with my family they would meet sooner than if they were from out of town either from where I go to school or even longer probably if we didn't go to school together or live in the same places.

As soon as the relationship becomes serious. If you're talking about marriage, it's a good time to reveal the S. O.
