I agree w/ sunnygirl, jokes are always on my list of things to say. Also I do stupid things, but interesting. When I get like running out of things to say I think of games to pass the time like Name that tune: where you play a song or tell 'em lyrics to guess at(this might take a comp. and a little preparation but if you pick the right songs for the other person to guess at it can be a lot of fun. And keep you from arguing) But I'm into music, you got to think of things like that - that would be fun to do. And sometimes I talk about what a person dislikes and find something we both dislike and make fun of that. And future plans that would be fun to do is another thing you can talk about. I also am into things like history and things like that, everyone always has some interest in history, whether it be about his family, his nationality and family traditions, or just random things about history. And I like to ask people if they have any funny family stories that are fun to share. Like one X-mas, when I was real little; My older brother had a plan. He hid a role of wrapping paper up in our room and we never went to sleep X-mas eve. At 4' o'clock we went downstairs and started bringing up presents. He was looking for sega genesis (that's how long ago). Well, we found it; took it out of the box and put a couch cushion in the box and wrapped it back up and put it back under the tree. We were playing our "X-mas Sega genesis" Like we were slick and we heard "WHAT THE HELL; BOYS GET DOWN HERE; NOW" It almost worked, haha, but I mean he has to have some funny guy stories, you know. And you shouldn't have to make up for like 90% of the conversation.
But also I can give you all types of examples, but I'm curious as to why he argues when he's not quiet. Like, maybe he's stressed about something. Work/ school/ sports/ family whatever. And just on edge, a little short in the patience department. I don't know, But I'm just trying to give some other examples as to what could be bothering him.
