How should I react? Should I break the oath or keep it?

My boyfriend called another girl gorgeous and I became mad at him .
He tried to be sweet but I was very angry already..So he ridiculed me on my looks.
he said that as he is a boy , would obviously be attracted as looks matter a lot for boys.
he further told he proposed me as I was his sweetest crush not because of my looks.
then he told that I wasted his whole day by fighting and he could read nothing.
I GOT ANGRY AND TOOK OATH In HIS NAME THAT I WON'T TEXT HIM till exams get over.
now our exams would be continuing for a month.
NOW He Is THREATENING To BREAK Up WITH Me If I DON'T TEXT Or CALL HIM NOW. He SAYS NOW Or NEVER as one month is a long time!
what should I do?
if I break the oath...I am afraid f consequences and moreover he would taunt me daily that I broke the oath...I know he would ...He's always like this!
but I love him v much! Please advice what should be done!
I have tried calling him instead of text but he isn't receiving my call as he says I meant call too in my oath.
I should text him else shouldn't contact him at all..Please advice!

you sound quite pathetic if your in a relationship be in a relationship with the guy lol talk to him for god sake. yeh he said a girl was geourgous... its not like he's sleeping with her by admitting it in front of you is he. quite frankly if I were him I would have already split with you

an ulser is a mouth sore that you get from stress, and as a christian I don't think god will get angry for breaking your oath I beleive he's a common sense kinda guy and will probably applaud you for fixing this mess, and the boyfriend will probs be a bit angry but hey what can you do about that now lol

I understand completely. I never ignored him , I caled him. but he told me not to contact. taking your advice. I have sent him a text, but I m really afraid that my oath being broken may not break the trust in this relationship and may nothing hampers his health. He means a lot to me. But thank you for opening my eyes.

tell him that he hurt your feelings but your sorry that you ignored him you were just hurt. and then don't ignore a guy if your "in a relationship" it can't be a relationship by any definition if you arnt talking

because you diddnt talk to him for weeks on end... and he did try to be nice and apologize and you may as well not be going out with the guy, he tried to address your insecurities by telling you that he like you for much deeper things than looks, which from a guy is serious. and you just completely laid on to his insecurities by pretty much abandoning him. he made a stupid comment and you destroy the relationship... that's why its pathetic lol

What for would you have split? I love him a lot. And was possesive about him . What is wrong in that? If your girlfriend praises some other boy saying that he is better than you,would you not feel bad about it? would you not be insecured unless you guys are completely matured? we are young. We are Impulsive! it happens sometimes!

Wow chill out, pride doesn't have to get in the way of things, if he's worth keeping. Kiss and make up honestly, he did nothing wrong by complimenting another girl, he's with you not with her right? At the end of the day that's what matters. Why let something so shallow ruin a relationship

You're both being childish about this. Yes, he was in the wrong to be flirting with another girl. Yes, he's immature for attacking you about your looks in defense. You were childish because you're refusing to communicate and let him know what the problem is and trying to compromise or relay your point in a civil manner.

  i called him up but he is just getting mad at my decision of no text for one full month. I understand it is painful on his part to stay away. it is very painful for me too. But I have taken an oath already. And he is mad about it!
  He says if I don't text now,he would never text me ever! I am afraid he does what he says always!

What's wrong with thinking another girl is beautiful or gorgeous? He's with you, not with her. Just text him, tell him you feel like talking about it and tell him how it makes you feel when he calls another girl gorgeous or compliments another girl like that. He doesn't get your "oath" (which is quite childish to me, to be honest) because he doesn't know what he did wrong! He doesn't feel complimenting another girl is wrong, it's not like he cheated. Tell him how that makes you feel, he'll understand. But be calm and no "if you do that I won't text you anymore".

Get rid of him. Keep the oath and find a guy who will treat you with respect.
Of course guys are all about looks but so are girls too. But somehow we don't go around pointing out all the guys we think are attractive besides our bf's. I guess we care about their bf's feelings more than guys like your guy cares about yours. Seriously keep the oath and move on. Be strong and you will find a guy who will treat you with respect.
It started out immature on both your parts but him threatening a break up shows he is a control freak and this is not a good thing.

  Never the solution? Sometimes it is the only solution. I am not saying it is in this case but his threats suggest he might be one of those guys that will eventually resort to hitting so I would avoid that now. Once it starts it is hard to get out because then you are afraid for your life.

  But breaking up always is never the solution I suppose. There must be some point or some solution to each problem in a constructive manner. It was my fault. I over reacted. But I can't break the oath as it is taken in his name and I love him a lot! The problem is,he doesn't understand this .

  I have talked. He says he doesn't know anything.I must text him now or never.I believe in oaths a lot! It must be painful for him to stay away! But he is so angry that he has stopped recieving my calls too and texts me that "This is what you have choosen for yourself"

  ok..all guys are like that..just trust me..mayb you sahould talk to him about his problems when he is angry..do a pros and cons list and show it to him and make him do the same and you both work on them and your problems..if it gets worse you should leave him
